another, other & the other
      another adj. & pron. 不确定数目中的“另一个”。如:
      This shirt is too big. I’d like to try another. 
      这件衬衫太大了,我想再试一件。
      other adj. & pron. 意为“其他的;另外的”,用作形容词时可以修饰单数或复数名词,泛指其他的人或物。如:
      I study Chinese, English and other subjects.
     我学习汉语、英语及其他课程。
      the other指两个之中的“另一个”,常与one连用。the other还可以修饰复数名词,相当于the others,表示除前面提到的以外,“其余全部的”。 如:
      I have two pencils. One is red, the other is blue.
