C Do you want an “OK” from your parents when you start to miss your favorite online game? It’s difficult but possible now. The China Youth Internet Association(CYIA) has made standards(标准) for computer games for different age groups. Many people made the standards. They were policemen, game-makers and top game-players. The standards tell people which games are for middle school students, high school students and grown-ups. There are 11 standards. Some are for players and some are for game-makers. The standards say games for juniors should be about good things. So next time you find a game with lots of fights and dirty words, ask your friends to keep away from it. The games for students may teach players more than those for grown-ups. It’s better for makers to use stories from history and geography in their games. This makes learning more fun. The games for students have rules for players. If you use dirty words too many times, you may be out of the game. You can’t spend too much time playing games. The computer will stop the game when your time is up. Great, right? Your mum may even be happier than you. |
